Entering the Search Criterion

Once you have selected one of the seven fields upon which to search, by clicking on the appropriate 'radio' button, move the pointer to the white text input box, and key in the search criterion of your choice.

This is not 'case-sensitive' which means you may input, say, the country Switzerland as swit, SWIT, Swit, swiT etc. It does not need to be in all Upper Case (capitals) or all Lower Case (small letters).

Enter spaces only within a criterion, for example 73 142 is entered as 73[space]142. Adding an extra space to an end of the search string may not necessarily have the desired effect. For example, if you know that there is an entry listed as 0-8-0T, this would be held by the system as
0-8-0T
and so it will not be matched by a search for 0-8-0T[space]
